Jose Enrique has posted on his Instagram story that he thinks Arsenal transfer target Victor Osimhen is ‘going to go Manchester United’.

The former Liverpool left-back did add that he hopes ‘I am wrong’ with the Napoli striker being one of the most sought-after goalscorers in Europe.

Napoli is heading towards the Serie A title and it’s set to be their first in 30 years, which would be an incredible achievement for the club.

Osimhen has played a huge part in that, alongside his partner in crime, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with the duo having 29 goals between them this term and 19 of them to the 24-year-old’s name.

The unfortunate thing for Napoli is that even with the Serie A title and another Champions League campaign next season, those with the big pockets are expected to come swarming in for their talents and there isn’t much they can do about it.

Osimhen has spoken about how it’s his ‘dream’ to play in the Premier League and Enrique thinks there is only one road he will head towards.

“I believe he is going to Manchester United,” said Enrique. “I hope I am wrong.”

ARSENAL’S TRANSFER LINKS WITH OSIMHEN

The Gunners are now back with the big boys and they will be hoping it brings with it those elite stars.

There was a period under Arsene Wenger, with Robin van Persie’s sale to Manchester United being a main example, where the north London club was selling their top talents rather than bringing them in.

Well, with the Premier League title in the distance and Champions League football to return, then the likes of Osimhen, who is on Arsenal’s transfer radar, could be donning the club’s famous colors next season.
