All the latest Manchester United news as Erik ten Hag’s men prepare to face Real Betis in the Europa League.

Manchester United find themselves in need of a pick-me-up again after a frustrating draw with bottom club Southampton over the weekend.

Erik ten Hag’s men were hoping to strengthen their top four position against the struggling Saints, but they were hamstrung by Casemiro’s red card in the first half and wound up settling for a point. Attention now turns back to the Europa League, though it’s likely Ten Hag will rest key players having established a healthy three-goal lead in the first leg against Real Betis.

As the build-up begins for that game, we have rounded up all the latest news surrounding Old Trafford.

Lindelof price

United are said to have slapped a hefty price tag on Victor Lindelof ahead of this summer.

The Red Devils are expected to offload a defender or two this summer, and Lindelof could be one of them, given Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez’s heavy presence. Inter Milan are said to be interested in Lindelof, but The Sun say United are likely to want to make their money back on the Sweden international.

It’s claimed Inter believe a £31million bid will be enough to get the deal done.

Loan plan

United are said to be planning to loan out two members of their first-team squad in the summer.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils are planning to loan out Facundo Pellistri, as well as Anthony Elanga, who was heavily linked with a loan exit in the January window. United are expecting to strengthen in the summer, and it’s likely opportunities will be further reduced for the young pair, who have already seen a decent amount of first-team football at different stages.

The report goes on to add that Mason Greenwood’s situation remains undecided, with United not yet clear on what they want to do with the forward following his legal clearing.
