Erik ten Hag has penned a rallying message to Manchester United supporters in yesterday’s matchday programme.
The Red Devils saw out a narrow 1-0 victory over Brentford last night to move them back into the top four after falling to fifth place on Monday.
Marcus Rashford’s first-half strike was enough to see them over the line and put an end to the chance of their three-game winless and goalless streak extending.
Next up is another Premier League clash this Saturday when United take on survival-chasing Everton at Old Trafford in the early kick-off, before returning to Europa League action on Thursday, April 13 with the first leg of their quarter-final tie against Sevilla.
An FA Cup semi-final is also on the horizon; United will make the trip to Wembley for the second time this season to face Brighton and Hove Albion on April 23.
Ten Hag sends rallying message to fans
Ahead of the season-defining run of fixtures, Ten Hag said (via Samuel Luckhurst): “I have said that the campaign really begins in April and May. Now, that time is here and everything we have done before is behind us. Every game between now and the end of the season has to be a fight, whichever competition we are playing in.”
