Liverpool is confident of securing an agreement with Brighton star Alexis Mac Allister after offering him a “huge” salary that would triple his current deal, sources have told Football Insider.
The Merseysiders are making progress on the capture of the World Cup winner, 24, as they look to wrap up a deal within weeks.

The midfield star has been a key man for Brighton this term as the south coast club secured European qualification for the first time.
He has notched 12 goals and three assists in 39 appearances across all competitions for De Zerbi’s side.
Mac Allister contributed a goal and an assist in six starts at the 2022 World Cup as Argentina won the competition.
