Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly on the verge of signing Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Mirror have reported that Liverpool have agreed a £60 million deal with RB Leipzig to sign Dominik Szoboszlai in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Liverpool have agreed to pay Szoboszlai’s £60 million release clause in his contract at Leipzig.
Although Leipzig were not actively looking to sell the attacking midfielder, the 22-year-old “made clear he wanted the opportunity to move to Anfield and work with Jurgen Klopp”, according to the report.
90min have reported that Szoboszlai has already personal terms with Liverpool and is now set to undergo a medical.
Exciting Dominik Szoboszlai update for Liverpool fans
In our opinion, that Liverpool are about to sign Dominik Szoboszlai is hugely exciting for the Anfield faithful.
It shows just how keen Liverpool are to get their transfer business done early.
Liverpool have already completed the signing of Argentina international midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion this summer.
Szoboszlai is an attacking midfielder by trade, but the Hungary international is able to play as a right winger as well.
The Hungarian star made 28 starts and three substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Leipzig last season.
The attacker scored six goals and gave eight assists in those games.
