Follow throughout the day for the latest Man Utd transfer rumours, takeover updates and breaking news.
The start of the new season is just five nights away for Manchester United when they start the campaign against Wolves on Monday.
United will be focussing on outgoings before the match and for the rest of the window after completing their major business with the signings of Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund.
Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire are two players who could leave before September 1 but West Ham have been unsuccessful in their bids for the pair so far.
McTominay is unlikely to leave after Kobbie Mainoo suffered an injury in pre-season and Maguire’s future will depend on his own decision as United are not actively pushing him out of the door.
One player who won’t be leaving permanently is Hannibal Mejbri as United have opted against selling him but the combative midfielder will likely leave on loan.

United trying to sign centre back
United are attempting to sign a centre-back as Harry Maguire edges closer to leaving the club.
West Ham submitted an improved offer for Maguire on Tuesday and United have accepted the offer in principle.
United have always regarded a defensive-minded player as the likeliest fourth addition of the summer and sources stressed that if Maguire leaves he will have to be replaced.
United told ‘wonderkid’ pricetag
United would have to make a bid in the region of €30million if they wanted to sign Sergey Pinyaev in the future.
Pinyaev, 18, was born in November 2004 and he’s long been considered one of Russia’s most exciting youth prospects. United have followed his progress over the years and it’s understood the winger had trials at the club prior to the pandemic.
The youngster spent a few weeks in Manchester during that trial period and he spent time meeting staff at United.
