Manchester United will face Wolves to kick start their new Premier League campaign next week but they remain busy in the transfer market.
The Red Devils have been linked with Fiorentina star, Sofyan Amrabat, for weeks and reports indicate, the Morrocan will be sold to Man United.
As per today’s version of Corriere dello Sport (news image provided below) Amrabat and Quarta “will be sold” first before the Viola make further moves in the summer transfer window.
The Rome based news outlet have mentioned that the African star will be heading to Manchester United, on the other hand, the Argentine international could move to River Plate.
Amrabat has been looking to leave Fiorentina for some time. He told the club two months ago that he wants a transfer this summer.
As yet, no one has been able to match the asking fee of 30 million euros to lure the Netherlands born player.
However, CdS claim every passing day is a positive one and expect Man Utd to make the “decisive” move “at any moment” to get the deal over the line.
Amrabat was without doubt the best defensive midfielder at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar last year and Erik ten Hag has already managed him at Utrecht.
So, the Dutch boss knows all about the qualities and the characteristics of the Serie A star. In your opinion, would Sofyan Amrabat be an upgrade on Fred/McTominay?
