The buzz about Al Ittihad’s interest in signing Mohamed Salah started making the rounds a few weeks ago.
However, his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, was quick to put an end to those speculations, stating, “If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to LFC.”
Surprisingly, a report from Arriyadiah.com claims that the 31-year-old has been presented with an astonishing two-year deal worth £180 million.
The Saudi outlet has closely followed other departures from Anfield to the Saudi Pro League.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Alkass channel, a Qatari source, reported that Mohamed Salah has given Al Ittihad the go-ahead to start negotiations.
As a sign of fervent enthusiasm, Al Ittihad supporters have initiated a hashtag campaign, which translates to “Al Ittihad’s fans request Salah.”
It’s worth noting that Salah exhibited his frustration when he was substituted at Stamford Bridge, but Jurgen Klopp later clarified that he has no qualms with Salah’s reaction.
