Fans spot Harvey Elliott's furious reaction to Mo Salah scoring for Liverpool against LASK

Fans have spotted Harvey Elliott’s furious reaction to Mo Salah’s goal for Liverpool in the Europa League group stage win over LASK on Thursday.

Liverpool came from behind to beat the Austrian side 3-1 in their opening fixture in the Europa League. Darwin Nunez cancelled out Florian Flecker’s superb opener, before Luis Diaz put the Reds ahead.

Salah came off the bench to secure the win in the 88th minute but it seems as though not everyone was pleased.

Nunez fed Salah, who slalomed his way through in the area before rolling it through the goalkeeper’s legs with his left foot for a stunning solo goal.

At least two players were in the box waiting for Salah to square the ball, including Elliott.

He went on his own and despite scoring, Elliott was clearly not happy as he was on for a tap-in.

Plenty of fans spotted just how annoyed the England Under 21 international was even though Salah found the net.

One commented: “Elliott looked so disappointed to not get the pass there but Salah does what he does.”

A second said: “Elliott moaning at Salah to pass the ball even after he scored. He doesn’t need you.”

A third commented: “Harvey Elliott crying he didn’t get the pass? Be f***ing happy Salah scored ffs.”

Another added: “Elliott was not happy Salah scored that.

A fourth noticed: “Elliott was not happy that Salah scored this wonderful goal instead of passing to him.”

A fifth stated: “Elliott moaning about Salah not passing despite scoring haha.”

Liverpool return to action with a clash against West Ham at Anfield on Sunday, with their next European game a visit of Union Saint-Gilloise.
