A key Liverpool player will be out until the beginning of the new year, according to Jurgen Klopp, as their unfortunate streak of injuries continues.

It was announced by Jurgen Klopp during a recent press conference that Thiago Alcantara won’t be playing again until the New Year.

Thiago underwent surgery in May to address a chronic hip ailment, which has kept him out of the Liverpool team.

In a Premier League game against Wolves in February, he made his most recent start.

Even though he was back at team training in August, he suffered another setback as he was getting close to making a recovery, which prolonged his absence. Klopp stressed that although Thiago, 32, is expected to return at the start of the new year, he still struggles with injuries.

Thiago, who is renowned for his extraordinary abilities, has experienced a number of injury setbacks while playing for Anfield.

Fans and the coaching staff have missed him, but as of right now, there is no urgent need to know when he will return.

Due to his prolonged spell of inactivity, Liverpool signed many midfield players during the summer transfer window. With the midfield in Klopp’s team functioning well, it will be difficult for the 32-year-old to earn playing time for the balance of the season.

Thiago might be a backup option when he returns, which should be early in the next year.
