Liverpool fans will be devastated if latest hamstring injury is serious

The only thing standing in the way of another significant league victory for Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s team continues to prove their title credentials was Curtis Jones’ probable injury.

Klopp is worried about Salah’s AFCON injury.

The Englishman appeared to be experiencing some hamstring trouble, and James Pearce of X (formerly Twitter) this evening reported that he was substituted off in the second half.

After a brief absence caused by a three-game red card suspension and thigh issues, the Academy graduate has been an essential member of the Reds’ starting lineup.

In the absence of the England youth international, we do have options. Trent Alexander-Arnold might start in the No. 6 spot once he returns from injury, and Alexis Mac Allister could move to the left of midfield.

Similar to that, Ryan Gravenberch has a history of performing in that specific role when called upon.

The 22-year-old has undoubtedly made that position his own in recent weeks, so it would be devastating for the team’s balance to lose him for an extended amount of time.

Hopefully, it’s not a major one!
