Jamie Carragher has posted a six-word reaction on social media after Conor Bradley scored to double the Liverpool lead during the first-half against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

Conor Bradley sent Anfield into a frenzy after a brilliant goal towards the end of the first-half – the first of his Liverpool career.

The right-back kept his place for the game despite Jurgen Klopp being able to call upon Trent Alexander-Arnold again after his injury.

Jamie Carragher praises Conor Bradley after Liverpool goal

Some may have wondered whether that decision may hurt Liverpool. Bradley has been excellent for the Reds in recent weeks. But obviously, Alexander-Arnold has a level of quality on the ball which few can compete with.

But Bradley showed what he can do on the ball with a superb strike into the bottom corner just before the interval.

There was a VAR check. But it was no surprise when the goal was given, allowing Bradley to confidently celebrate what may be the first of many goals for Liverpool in his career.

And Jamie Carragher was full of praise for Bradley on X after the goal…

Reds have another special talent on their hands

It is remarkable how well Bradley has done during this run in the side. Perhaps the highest praise you can give the 20-year-old is to say that Liverpool have hardly missed Alexander-Arnold since he was sidelined.

They have won all but one of the games he has played. And their only draw came when they already had one foot in the Carabao Cup final.

In fact, there is perhaps an argument that Bradley has shown enough to leave Klopp wondering about how exactly he should reintroduce Alexander-Arnold into the side.

The beauty of Alexander-Arnold now is that he is so comfortable playing in midfield also. So there is a way for Klopp to put both players into the team.

Of course, Klopp will be wary of rushing Bradley. But given the run of form he has had in the last few games, it really does appear that the Reds have a special talent on their hands.
