Nottingham Forest’s chairman stormed onto the pitch in crazy scenes after Liverpool won at the City Ground with a dramatic 99th minute winner.

The Reds were frustrated for large spells and looked like they were heading towards dropped points at the Midlands.

That was until Darwin Nunez headed home from an exquisite Alexis Mac Allister cross in the dying embers.

It was Liverpool’s latest ever goal in the Premier League and the celebrations in the away end were wild.

But chaos ensued after the final whistle. A number of Nottingham Forest staff members were booked by referee Paul Tierney, who also sent off assistant coach Steven Reid.

Virgil van Dijk was seen in conversation with a member of Forest’s backroom.

To add to the absurdity, Forest’s owner Evangelos Marinakis was spotted on the pitch.
