On the eve of Liverpool’s clash with Sparta Prague, Jurgen Klopp oversaw a 25-man squad, with Ryan Gravenberch making a return but Jayden Danns absent.

Despite holding a comfortable four-goal lead heading into the last-16 second leg match at Anfield, Klopp still faces injury concerns and is forced to carefully manage his squad.

Injuries continue to limit Klopp’s options, with Ibrahima Konate unavailable and Virgil van Dijk possibly due for a rest. With only three senior center-backs to choose from, Klopp faces a selection dilemma, although the return of Gravenberch provides a significant boost.

Gravenberch, who has missed the last four matches due to an ankle injury, could make a comeback, potentially featuring off the bench.

One player certain to start is Mohamed Salah, with Klopp confirming the winger’s readiness for the XI. Salah, who trained with the team at the AXA Training Ground, is poised for his third appearance since returning from injury. Despite Salah’s return, Jayden Danns remains sidelined after suffering a concussion in a previous match against Nottingham Forest.

Despite injury setbacks, Klopp remains confident in the squad’s depth and young talent, ensuring a competitive lineup against Sparta Prague.

As Liverpool navigates through the challenges of injuries and rotation, Klopp’s tactical acumen will be crucial in guiding the team to success in the pivotal match.
