Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City are the three teams competing for the Premier League title, and talkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has predicted whether it will be the Gunners fans or the Anfield faithful who will be celebrating at the end of the season.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table with 64 points from 28 matches, level on points with second-placed Liverpool.
Defending champions Manchester City are third with 63 points from 26 games, and former Tottenham Hotspur player Jamie O’Hara does not think that Pep Guardiola’s side will win the league title for the fourth season in a row.
The talkSPORT pundit has backed Liverpool to get the job done in the end and beat Arsenal and City to the Premier League title.
Jamie O’Hara backs Liverpool to beat Arsenal and Manchester City to Premier League title
O’Hara said on talkSPORT (9:22 pm, March 16, 2024): “I think they (Manchester City) will win the Champions League and the FA Cup. I just think Arsenal or Liverpool might win it (the Premier League title).
“I don’t want to say Arsenal, but Arsenal are in decent form. I think Liverpool will win the league, I do. I just have got a feeling.
“Klopp, it’s written in the stars. They are grinding out results, young players coming, hungry for success, I just feel there is something going on there, I just think they will do it.”
Title race will go down to the wire
In my opinion, the Premier League title race between Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City will go down to the wire.
I am backing City to win the title on the final day of the season, but Arsenal and Liverpool have a very good chance as well.
Other than the matches against Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, City do not have a fixture that they could drop points in.
Arsenal will have to face City, Tottenham and Manchester United in the final weeks of the campaign.
For Liverpool, the toughest games are going to be against Manchester United and Tottenham.
City have world-class players everywhere, and with Phil Foden, Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland in top form, they cannot be written off at any point.
