How much does Mo Salah make on and off the pitch!

Leaked financial documents have shed light on Liverpool star Mo Salah’s lucrative earnings beyond the football pitch. Despite already being the highest-earning player at Liverpool, Salah’s off-the-field ventures contribute substantially to his income.

Having signed a reported £400,000-per-week contract extension with Liverpool in 2022, Salah attracted a staggering £200 million offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad just a year later. Although he declined the offer, opting to remain with Liverpool, Salah continues to amass considerable wealth through commercial endeavors.

According to ‘Salah UK Commercial,’ a financial document dated June 20, 2023, Salah generated £5.4 million after taxes from various commercial ventures. Endorsement deals with renowned brands like Pepsi, Adidas, and Uber have significantly bolstered his earnings, accumulating £27 million over a three-year period.

Salah’s financial success extends beyond endorsements, with personal sponsorships netting him £11 million in the last tax year alone. Such financial stability positions Salah favorably for his post-football career, should he choose to retire.

Although Al Ittihad may revisit their interest in Salah during the upcoming transfer window, Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson suggests West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen as a potential replacement, citing his versatility, goal-scoring ability, and defensive work rate as valuable assets. Regardless of potential departures, Liverpool’s recruitment strategy may prioritize defensive reinforcements in the transfer market.
