Heartbreak at Anfield: Isaac Misses Out on 2025/26 Home Games Ballot

Liverpool Football Club has issued a clarification regarding the recent ballot results for Premier League home matches in the upcoming 2025/26 season—and for Isaac Kearney, the outcome is deeply disappointing.

In an email sent on 24 July, the club initially stated the results of the ballot but mistakenly referenced the 2024/25 season. However, a follow-up communication from Liverpool FC has confirmed that, despite the clerical error, the ballot results themselves remain valid.

“We would like to confirm that despite the error, the results of the ballot are correct and your ballot entry for Premier League home games due to be played during the final half of the 2025/26 season has been unsuccessful for all games you registered for,” the club stated in the correction notice.

This means Isaac will not be granted ticket access to any of the selected home matches for the latter part of the 2025/26 campaign via the members’ ballot.

While it’s a tough result for any passionate Red, there is a silver lining. The club has confirmed that any remaining tickets—after sales to those who were successful in the ballot—will be made available through the Additional Members Sale, which takes place ahead of each match.

“They will be advertised here,” the club added, directing fans to keep an eye on the official platform for ticket sale updates.

The oversight in the season year may have caused brief confusion, but the reality remains unchanged for Isaac and many other fans who missed out: no Anfield seat—at least not through the ballot—for the final stretch of 2025/26.

For now, it’s a waiting game. With hopes pinned on the Additional Members Sale, Isaac—like many loyal Liverpool fans—will be watching closely and waiting patiently for another shot at experiencing the magic of Anfield live.
