Liverpool fans think that one star player is set to leave the club after spotting he was left out of the squad for a behind-closed-doors friendly.
With less than a month until the 2025/26 Premier League season gets underway, Liverpool remain busy in the summer transfer window.
Despite weeks of links with Newcastle United star Alexander Isak, the Reds decided to move forward with a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitike.
The deal come after Liverpool already secured transfers for Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez earlier in the window.
But it’s not just incomings that Liverpool have been busy organising throughout the summer, as several players have been linked with moves away from Anfield this summer.
And after a leaked image showed Arne Slot’s squad for a behind-close-doors friendly on Sunday, fans are convinced they know who will be next to leave the club.
On Sunday afternoon, Liverpool secured a dominant 4-0 win over Stoke City at the AXA Training Centre, with a hat-trick of goals from Darwin Nunez, and one for both Rio Ngumoha and Federico Chiesa.
In an image shared by journalist Ben Pescod, the team sheet showed that Arne Slot decided to field a strong team for a friendly match against the Championship side with the likes of Wirtz, Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk all in action.
However, one name that wasn’t included in the squad was winger Luis Diaz, who has recently been linked with moves away to the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
